In January of this year I went to Mattamuskeet area to look for Snow Geese and Tundra Swans. On Friday i went to Vernon James Research Center to look for eagles. I got a few but not very exciting. I then went to Columbia for sunset pictures.
On Saturday morning I took some sunrise pictures. Then off to Pungo lake for Tundra Swan and Snow Geese pictures. Then off to Mattamuskeet Lake which not very exciting until sunset. On the way back to the hotel i missed a full moon rising.
On Sunday the weather got clouding. i was able to get a few interesting pictures. In late afternoon the sun finally came out just in time for Snow Geese to arrive.
